These can be in the field of sports -both at school and after, creative activities or competitions. British School of Sofia pupils have the opportunities to showcase their talents through shows put on, competitions like the World Scholar鈥檚 Cup, MangaHigh, COBIS Young Scientist Filmmakers, Poetry and Art and in friendly matches against other schools, just to name a few. We believe this helps build balanced, knowledgeable, caring and reflective people, which upholds our mission 鈥業nspiring students to create and shape the world of tomorrow.鈥�

How would you rate British School of Sofia (BSS)?
The most international and truly British school in Bulgaria! My son studied at the British School of Sofia for three years, and it鈥檚 truly the most international school in Bulgaria. Children from all over the world learn together in a diverse, welcoming environment. This school is unique because it鈥檚 genuinely British鈥攏ot just in name. Qualified teachers teach all subjects in English, and Bulgarian is offered as a second language. The school also strongly supports non-native English speakers, helping students quickly reach the level needed to study confidently in English. I'm very grateful to BSS for its high academic standards, caring atmosphere, and the opportunities it gave my child to grow and thrive.
Not professional, not international school, 95 percent of the teachers are Bulgarian without any international experience.
