About Winpenny School (Winpenny)
Winpenny School Mexico City aims to be a leading British 色控传媒 using contemporary approaches to teaching and learning, and state-of-the-art technology to develop well-rounded, confident individuals with high academic standards.
Winpenny first opened its doors in September 1992. Its original location was a four-bedroomed house in Calle de Pedregal in Lomas de Virreyes. Miss Marian, originally from Yorkshire, England arrived in Mexico in 1969. She has nearly 50 years鈥� experience teaching and leading schools in Mexico City and co-founding Winpenny School.
Marian Winpenny and her eldest son Melvyn T. Winpenny founded the school with just five children, one 5 year-old, two 4 year-olds and two 3 year-olds. Early on that same year, parents asked Miss Marian to open a group for 2 year-olds. Due to Miss Marian鈥檚 reputation as an excellent English educator, the school quickly expanded. By the end of the first year, the school had already grown to accommodate 27 children and three more teachers. Every year after, the school continued to grow and new grades were added.

How would you rate Winpenny School (Winpenny)?
I think they could improve communication, ask for opinions, evaluations, etc. I understand parents can be disrespectful but not all and some things are left unheard because of this. For example, I was told when we joined WP that all primary teachers were English native speakers and they aren鈥檛. I鈥檇 like to express my opinion of some of the teachers practices that I don鈥檛 necessarily approve.

Es una escuela con una muy linda comunidad de padres , en la que trabajan d铆a a d铆a por integrarnos m谩s a trav茅s de actividades adicionales al horario escolar ! Mis hijos son felices aqu铆 y eso es lo que m谩s me complace !
It鈥檚 a great school!
I feel the school has many strength points, my kids are really in love with their school and they do not see themselves elsewhere. But I also think it has a many opportunity areas, such as having for example better facilities, an auditorium must be in the list of priorities. Also the psicology department could be better.
Winpenny is a very complete school where students learn about different topics through IPC integrating science, maths, history and geography in a very engaging way. My kids have been very happy for more than 8 years

Good school, good community, parents are nice. School really focuses inclusion and a good spirit. My daughter's classmates were amazing very nice and well rounded kids. She always tells me she loves the school and wakes up wanting to go to school every day.

Lack of professionalism and good treatment. Regrettably, knowing that there is no quota, in any case invite to make the payment of an evaluation. In addition, the evaluation lasts only 10 minutes. The facilities leave much to be desired. If you are looking for an international school and of good quality, this school is definitely not an option.
